Earth Month 2023
During the week of April 19th, 2023, the Environmental Stewardship Committee presented the second annual All-School Earth Day celebration.
Earth Day Workshops
71 student leaders from K-12 & 27 faculty/staff presenters led 34 workshops about the environment. Highlights include a composting tutorial, nature walks, upcycled book art, and shrub planting among many others! Student Emily S. '24, Photography Teacher Kevin Williamson, and Art Teacher Jonathan Peck designed this logo for the 2023 Earth Day celebrations at Sacred Heart Greenwich. The Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart have guided our work in stewardship and sustainability, and this logo reflects our commitment to the living out the mission of the Society of the Sacred Heart.
Goal 3, Criterion 4: All members of the School community accept accountability for the care of God’s creation, practice effective stewardship of the earth's resources and work to alleviate the climate crisis.
